Joanne Hollenbeck received her BS degree with a major in voice at Suny/Fredonia, where she accompanied the Festival Chorus, Opera Theatre, numerous vocal and instrumental soloists, and was the organist and children's choir director for the Dunkirk Presbyterian Church. Her musical career led to vocal music teaching in the East Aurora and Hamburg school systems and organ studies under Frederick Burgomaster of St. Paul's Cathedral in Buffalo. She has held positions at the Hamburg Christian Scientist Church, the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, and is currently the music director and organist at the Hamburg Presbyterian Church. Ms. Hollenbeck has accompanied choruses and soloists in the Western New York area and at summer music conferences in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina, and spends two weeks every year with CURE International in Honduras doing medical mission work. The Orchard Park Chorale is pleased to have had Ms. Hollenbeck as its accompanist for twenty years.
Mr. Kennedy has been the music director of the Orchard Park Chorale since 1999. He is also founder and artistic director of Buffalo Opera Unlimited. A native of Philadelphia, Mr. Kennedy studied voice at the Philadelphia Musical Academy and received his Master's degree in Music and Theatre from SUNY at Buffalo. He has taught at the elementary, secondary, and colleg levels and has performed as an actor, singer and director. Currently Mr. Kennedy is organist/choir director of Lincoln Memorial United Methodist Church.
